Analysis of the graduation exam results of the standardized training for residents of stomatology specialties from 2018 to 2020 in Jiangxi Province

Abstract：Objective To analyze the results of the graduation exam of the standardized training of residents in stomatology in Jiangxi Province,so as to find the shortcomings in current work and improve the training program and the quality of training in a targeted manner.Methods We selected the graduation exam results of 223 residents majoring in stomatology who participated in the clinical practice skills graduation exam of the standardized training at the Affiliated Stomatology Hospital of Nanchang University from 2018 to 2020.They were divided into groups based on their different identity types,training bases,training majors,gender,and other characteristics.SPSS 24.0 statistical software was used to input data and conduct descriptive analysis.Count data was analyzed using univariate analysis.The t-test and analysis of variance were used to analyze measurement data.The differences in the graduation exam results of the standardized training among different resident physicians were analyzed.Results The difference in the average scores of the residency training practice skills completion assessment between different types and different training specialties was statistically significant(P<0.05).The average scores of postgraduate students were higher than those of other types of residents.Conclusion The overall situation of the residency training assessment of stomatology in Jiangxi Province is good.But there are many deficiencies.The stomatology profession attaches importance to the training of clinical practice skills.To cultivate more outstanding medical talents,we should optimize the training plan and assessment standards,assure the scientificity of training and the key of professional training,and improve the current training mode and assessment system.
