Application of Mini-CEX combined with DOPS in standardized training of skills in urology under scenario simulation

Abstract：Objective To explore the application value of Mini-CEX combined with DOPS in the standardized training of urological skills under scenario simulation.Methods Forty residents who rotated in the Urology Department from March to May 2022 were selected in an observation group,using the Mini-CEX combined with DOPS model under clinical scenario summative to conduct a formative assessment of clinical skills in the middle and late stages of training.Forty residents who rotated in the Urology Department from March to May 2021 were selected in a control group,using only summative assessment.Both groups underwent end-of-rotation assessments.Results The observation group residents'formative assessment scores at the end of the rotation were better than those in the middle of the rotation.The end-of-rotation assessment scores and skill levels in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Mini-CEX combined with DOPS can improve the training effect in the standardized training of urological skills under scenario simulation.
