Mode transformation and the hierarchical progressive method of operative surgical instruction teaching in standardized residency training

Abstract：Improving surgical operation ability is one of the important contents of the standardized residency training in the stage of quality connotation construction.The ability of instructors to teach surgical skills is an important guarantee to improve the quality of training."Gradual release of responsibility"is the theoretical basis of surgical operation teaching.According to the resident's ability,the demonstration mode,teaching mode,assistance mode,and supervision mode can be used.One mode can be used as the main way to guide the teaching,and multiple modes can be combined to be flexibly selected and switched at different stages of surgery.The four modes are the concrete manifestation of hierarchical progress,in line with the general law of learning,and are also an effective way to shorten the learning curve.
