A preliminary study of clinical teaching methods in neuro-ophthalmology for standardized ophthalmology residency training

Abstract：Neuro-ophthalmology is an emerging inter-discipline,and the clinical teaching of this subspecialty has just started in China.The clinical teaching of neuro-ophthalmology involves several disciplines,which has the characteristics of higher learning starting point,longer learning curve and more difficult in teaching.Based on these,the clinical teaching activities adopt a variety of teaching methods,such as starting from the basics and advancing step by step,enhancing the training in the diagnostic idea of diseases,applicating of neuro-ophthalmology case library in teaching,introducing of ideological and political elements,which can comprehensively improve post competency in the standardized training of residents in the department of ophthalmology,with good teaching effect.
