Exploration of structural morning reports in standardized training for residents in the department of nephrology

Abstract:Objective To explore the teaching effects of structural morning reports for residents of standardized training in the department of nephrology.Methods This research selected residents in the Department of Nephrology,Xuanwu Hospital,Capital Medical University in 2022 as the observation group,conducting the structural morning report teaching method.Residents who were trained in 2021 in traditional teaching method were included in the control group.Results of after-department examination of two groups were compared.An anonymous questionnaire satisfaction survey was performed in the observation group.Results The results showed that residents participating in morning reports had higher test scores,(94.43±4.77)points for the observation group and(91.85±2.83)points for the control group(t=-2.092,P=0.043).The satisfaction rate reached over 90%for the morning report teaching method.Conclusion Structural morning reports could improve theoretical performance and clinical thinking skills of residents.The teaching method is accepted by residents.
