Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of scenario simulation team rescue teaching combined with Mini-CEX scoring in improving the clinical competence of emergency residents. Methods Residents who rotated in the Emergency Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from March 2022 to September 2022 were selected for scenario simulation team rescue training. Before and after the training, the Mini-CEX scoring was used for team rescue capability assessment and clinical competency self-assessment.The team rescue ability and self-assessment of clinical competence of residents were compared before and after training. Results A total of 48 residents participated in the training and assessment. The scenario simulation team rescue ability assessment score of pre-training was(31.31±1.32),and the assessment score of post-training was(46.31±2.20),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.001).The clinical competency self-evaluation score pre-training was(25.50±4.75),and the clinical competency self-evaluation score post-training was(40.81±5.50),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.001).Conclusion The scenario simulation team rescue training can improve the team rescue ability of emergency residents, enhance their clinical competence and confidence in treating critically ill patients.
