Investigation on the current situation of clinical lectures in the professional base for standardized training of general practitioners and the countermeasures

Abstract:Objective By conducting a preliminary investigation on the current situation of clinical lectures in general practice residency training bases,we aimed to provide reference for improving the quality of general practice residency training lectures in the future.Methods A self-designed survey questionnaire was adopted.The survey content included basic information of general practitioners,the current status of clinical teaching staff in general practice residency training bases,and the implementation of clinical lectures.Results General practitioners had a high overall satisfaction with the teaching level,overall teaching situation,and curriculum design of clinical small lectures.55.3%of the general residents thought that the existing courses met the needs of residency training to a large extent.It was believed that to a certain extent small lectures greatly improved the overall clinical thinking,basic clinical skills,basic public health service ability,humanistic and doctor-patient communication ability,and scientific research ability,accounting for 88.5%,91.9%,80.8%,85.6%and 67.8%respectively.72.1%of general practice residents believed that strengthening the cultivation of general practice clinical thinking was currently the most necessary in clinical lectures.Conclusion It is very important to improve the quality of standardized training and teaching activities for general practitioners by strengthening the teaching ability of general practitioners,enriching the teaching content of clinical lectures,and adopting multimodal teaching.
