Exploration and practice of clinical competence evaluation of standardized training years reduction for resident doctors in Shanghai

Abstract：Objective Taking the practice of Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University as an example,the implementation process and results of the clinical competence evaluation for the reduction of residency training years is analyzed in this paper,in order to further improve the implementation program and provide reference for the policy and implementation of the reduction of residency training years in other places.Methods By case analysis,expert consultation and key insider interview,we deeply analyzed the clinical competence evaluation for the reduction of residency training years of Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University.Results There were differences in the different subjects of the clinical competence evaluation.The passing rate of the evaluation showed a downward trend and the overall difficulty of the evaluation increased.Conclusion The information qualification platform should be established to optimize the audit process and improve the efficiency.It is necessary to integrate the strength of the medical school and give play to the overall advantages of the school.Oriented by position competency,the level of evaluation homogeneity should be strengthened.
