Abstract：Accurate diagnosis of breast diseases is the cornerstone for developing individualized treatment plans and evaluating patient prognosis. Immunohistochemistry, as a key tool in this process, has been applied throughout the entire workflow, including disease diagnosis, molecular subtyping, prognosis assessment, and selection of therapeutic targets. This article focuses on the core advancements in the application of immunohistochemistry in breast pathology diagnosis, systematically summarizes the key points and precautions in clinical applications, aiming to provide reference for pathologists in clinical diagnostic practice.
