Application of combining teaching videos with case-based learning in training of clinical pathology residents

Abstract：With the rapid development of precision medicine, clinical pathology has become an indispensable part. This requires us to cultivate outstanding residents with stronger clinical thinking abilities. Considering that the pathological specimens sent for examination today are different from traditional medical ones, the students trained will be assigned to grassroots units, where the disease spectrum and specimens differ from those at the training base. Therefore, the construction and application of a video teaching database are very important. We have applied the combination of video teaching methods and case-based learning in the training of clinical pathology residents and have achieved certain results.
