Abstract:Sclerosing epithelioid fibrosarcoma (SEF) is a special subtype of fibrosarcoma with a risk of recurrence and metastasis. Its typical histological feature is epithelioid tumor cells embedded in a hyalinized collagen stroma. The characteristic genetic alteration is the EWSR1::CREB3L3 gene fusion, and relatively specific immunohistochemical markers include positive expression of MUC4. This article reports a case of SEF with EWSR1::CREB3L3 gene fusion occurring in a 20-year-old female uterus, analyzing its clinical pathological features, immunophenotype, and molecular characteristics to enhance understanding of this tumor.
