Clinicopathological features of vulvar and vaginal soft tissue tumors

Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinicopathologic features,immunophenotypes,diagnosis,differential diagnosis and prognosis of vulvar and vaginal soft tissue tumors.Methods Seven cases of vulvar and vaginal soft tissue tumors were collected at Shunyi Women's and Children's Hospital of Beijing Children's Hospital from November 2021 to January 2025.The clinical manifestations,histopathological features,immunohistochemical characteristics and prognosis were analyzed,and the relevant literature was reviewed.Results All 7 patients were female,aged 15 to 77 years.Among them,one case was superficial angiomyxoma,4 cases were angiomyofibroblastomas,1 case was cellular angiofibroma,and 1 case was superficial myofibroblastoma.Conclusions Vulvar and vaginal soft tissue tumors are relatively rare lesions.Comprehensive analysis of medical history,histopathological morphology,and immunophenotype can effectively reduce misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis.
