Abstract:Objective To investigate the expression of tumor necrosis factor receptor 2(TNFR2)and amphiregulin(AREG)in pancreatic cancer and their relationship with clinical features and microvessel density(MVD).Methods From July 2022 to March 2024,102 patients with pancreatic cancer treated at our hospital were enrolled.HE staining was used to observe the pathological features.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of TNFR2 and AREG.Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the factors affecting the high expression of TNFR2 and AREG in pancreatic cancer tissues. Results The high expression rates of TNFR2 and AREG in pancreatic cancer tissues were significantly higher than those in adjacent tissues(P<0.05).The proportions of high expression of TNFR2 and AREG in patients with poorly differentiated tumors, tumor diameter≥2 cm,and lymph node metastasis were significantly higher than those in patients with tumor diameter<2 cm,moderately to well-differentiated tumors, and no lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).MVD was significantly higher in pancreatic cancer tissues with high expression of TNFR2 and AREG than in those with low expression(P<0.05).Tumor diameter≥2 cm,poor differentiation, lymph node metastasis, and MVD were all factors influencing the high expression of TNFR2 and AREG in pancreatic cancer(P<0.05).Conclusion TNFR2 and AREG are highly expressed in pancreatic cancer, which are closely related to tumor diameter, degree of differentiation, lymph node metastasis, and MVD.
