Abstract:TRPS1 (Tricho-Rhino-Phalangeal Syndrome 1 gene) is a new member of the GATA gene family associated with the occurrence of Tricho-Rhino-Phalangeal Syndrome. It plays an important role in the development and differentiation of the breast. As a key regulatory factor of epithelial-mesenchymal transition in malignant tumors, TRPS1 is closely related to the occurrence and development of breast cancer. TRPS1 shows higher specificity and sensitivity than other common breast markers in most breast tumors, and it is also associated with patient prognosis. This article reviews the research progress of TRPS1 in breast tumors, aiming to enhance understanding of this molecular biomarker.
