Abstract:This article reports the clinical and pathological features of a case of nasal glomus tumor and summarizes relevant literature to deepen the understanding of nasal glomus tumors. The clinical manifestations of this case mainly included nasal obstruction, with gross appearance resembling nasal polyps. Histologically, the tumor showed small round cells arranged in sheets or nests around blood vessels, with rare mitotic figures. The vascular component was abundant, with varying sizes of lumens and uneven thickness of vessel walls. Immunohistochemical results showed CD34 positivity in blood vessels, Syn positivity, CK negativity, and SMA negativity. Nasal glomus tumors are rare, and diagnosis should be based on histomorphology and immunohistochemistry to avoid misdiagnosis.
