Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinicopathological features of primary lung salivary gland-type duct carcinoma. Methods Clinicopathological data of primary lung salivary gland-type duct carcinoma were collected and analyzed by H&E staining, immunohistochemistry, special staining and NGS.Results The tumor cells were arranged in solid nest, rope and sieve shape, and mucin was found in intercellular and intracellular. The nuclei are large, irregular, nucleolar and cytoplasmic eosinophilic.CK7,AR,HER2 and GATA3 were expressed in tumour, while TTF1,p40 and Syn were not expressed. Conclusion Primary lung salivary gland-type duct carcinoma is relatively rare.It is difficult to identify before surgery and should be distinguished from other types of lung salivary gland tumors and metastatic head and neck cancer/breast cancer.Clinical symptoms combined with pathological morphology, immunohistochemistry and molecular detection are helpful for diagnosis.
