Abstract:Extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma (ENKTL) is a non-Hodgkin lymphoma associated with Epstein-Barr virus, mainly occurring in the indigenous populations of East Asia and Central and South America. Morphologically, ENKTL typically features tumors composed of intermediate-sized cells or a mixture of small and large tumor cells. In this study, the authors report 10 cases of ENKTL primarily composed of anaplastic cells, showing diffuse CD30 expression and resembling ALK-negative anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALK-negative ALCL), and confirmed to have a highly aggressive biological behavior.
