Abstract:Objective To analyze the diagnostic significance and clinical application value of tumor budding/nest size(TBNS)grading in cervical squamous cell carcinoma. Methods A total of 69 cases of cervical cancer from Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, collected from July 2018 to August 2021,were included in this study.Pathological sections were evaluated using TBNS grading, and clinicopathological data of patients were collected. Then we compared the differences among three TBNS groups. Results Significant differences were observed in FIGO stages, depth of tumor invasion, and incidence of lymph vessel space invasion(LVSI)among different TBNS subgroups(P<0.05).Furthermore,there was an increased probability of lymph node metastasis and perineural invasion with higher TBNS grading. Conclusion TBNS grading is correlated with the prognosis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma patients and has promising potential for clinical application. It should be taken into account when formulating treatment plans.
