Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of different detection techniques in the pathological diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods A total of 153 cases of suspected pulmonary tuberculosis paraffin-embedded tissue specimens were selected and tested by fluorescence quantitative PCR based on centrifugal column method and lysis method, Sanger sequencing, and acid-fast staining. With clinical diagnosis as the gold standard, the diagnostic performance of the four methods for Mycobacterium tuberculosis was compared. Results Among the four methods, the fluorescence quantitative PCR based on the centrifugal column method had the highest detection rate, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, accuracy, and AUC. Conclusion The diagnostic efficiency of fluorescence quantitative PCR based on the centrifugal column method was the best.
