Abstract:Objective To investigate the distribution of driver genes and rare gene mutations in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods By retrospective analysis from July 2022 to September 2023,1 026 patients with NSCLC were diagnosed and sequenced by next-generation sequencing, and the cases with gene mutation were analyzed. Results In 1 026 patients with NSCLC,869 cases of fundamental mutations were detected,31 types of gene variation were detected. The mutation forms included single gene mutation, double gene mutation or multiple gene mutation, and the single mutation, double mutation or triple mutation occurred in the same gene.Types of mutations included missense mutation, nonsense mutation,in-frame-ins,in-frame-del,frame-shift-ins,frame-shift-del,splice-site,and fusion mutation. Conclusion NGS can detect multiple genetic variants at the same time and multiple variants of the same gene, and it plays an important role in the discovery of drug-sensitive targets and potential resistance mechanisms. Moreover,it is helpful to find drug-resistant genes when the tumor treatment is ineffective, and provide guidance for precision treatment of NSCLC.
