Abstract:Objective To investigate the expression of NTRK in infantile fibrosarcoma(IFS),and to analyze its relationship with the clinicopathological features and prognosis of patients. Methods A total of 36 IFS who were admitted and treated in our hospital from January 2011 to December 2022 were enrolled in the study. The clinical characteristics and survival data of patients were retrospectively analyzed.NTRK1/2/3 gene fusion were detected by FISH.And the correlation between NTRK fusions and the clinicopathological characteristics of IFS was analyzed;moreover, logistic regression model was used to investigate the factors affecting the prognosis of patients with IFS.Results The patients with high expression of pan-TRK had recurrence rate of 42%(15/36).There was no difference in recurrence rate between pan-TRK positive patients and pan-TRK negative patients(P>0.05).Advanced IRS staging(Ⅲ),poorly differentiated type were risk factors affecting the prognosis of IFS patients(P<0.05).Conclusion NTRK gene fusion in IFS tumor tissues is closely related to the occurrence and development of IFS.It has a high fusion level in IFS patients, providing a basis for early diagnosis and targeted therapy of IFS.
