Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinicopathological features, immunophenotype, differential diagnosis and relationship with PD-L1 of angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma(AFH).Methods The clinicopathological features, immunophenotype and PD-L1 expression of five cases of AFH were retrospectively analyzed, and the relevant literature was reviewed. Results There were 1 male patient and 4 female patients, aged from 2 to 65 years. The clinical presentation was a subcutaneous painless mass.Grossly, tumor size was 0.8~3.0 cm,section was gray white gray red.Microscopically, nodular growth of tumor cells, fibrous envelope and pseudo-vascular-like space formation, lymphocyte and plasma cell infiltration around the tumor.Immunophenotypically,Vimentin,Desmin,CD68,SMA,CD99 and EMA were positive, while CD34 and S-100 were negative.PD-L1 was positively expressed in 3 cases. Conclusion AFH is a rare intermediate tumor, and its diagnosis is mainly based on pathological features, immunohistochemical and molecular detection.PD-L1 can be expressed in AFH,providing a basis for a new treatment plan for patients with AFH.
