Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of special staining combined with immunohistochemical staining in the auxiliary diagnosis of interstitial invasion of cervical cancer. Methods Thirteen cases of high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions,41 cases of cervical microinvasive carcinoma and 10 cases of cervical squamous cell carcinoma were collected, and special staining and immunohistochemical staining were performed respectively. Results Reticular fiber staining and Masson staining could show that basement membrane was complete or missing.MMP-9 was weakly to moderately positive for microinvasive carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. It was negative or weakly positive for high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions. The diagnostic method of special staining combined with immunohistochemical staining had a high sensitivity in judging interstitial infiltration, but the difference was not statistically significant. Conclusion The sensitivity and specificity of reticular fiber staining are higher than those of Masson staining and MMP-9.The combination of special staining and immunohistochemical staining could improve the detection rate of interstitial infiltrates in cervical cancer, which is of great significance in the diagnosis of early cervical cancer.
