Abstract:Objective This study aimed to explore the influence of a comprehensive nutritional support strategy on the prognosis of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)treated with nasal high-flow oxygen therapy(HFNC).Methods A total of 96 patients with AECOPD admitted to our hospital from May 2023 to April 2025 were selected and randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group using SPSS 23.0 software. Both groups received HFNC treatment, while the control group was given conventional enteral nutrition and the experimental group was provided with a comprehensive nutritional support strategy combining enteral and parenteral nutrition. The levels of serum albumin(ALB),hemoglobin(Hb),transferrin(TF),arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2),arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2),interleukin-10(IL-10),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),and the rate of poor clinical prognosis were compared between the two groups. Results After 7 days of treatment, the levels of Hb,ALB,TF,and PaO2 in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),while the levels of PaCO2,IL-10,hs-CRP,and TNF-α were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After 3 months of follow-up,the rate of poor clinical prognosis in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with conventional enteral nutrition, the comprehensive nutritional support strategy can further improve the nutritional status of AECOPD patients, enhance the therapeutic effect of HFNC,reduce inflammatory response, and improve clinical prognosis.
