Analysis of Medical Purpose Air Drying Methods and Their Characteristics

Abstract：The medical purpose air system is an indispensable component of medical gas systems,with moisture content being a critical indicator that affecting medical air quality.In order to investigate the moisture-handling capabilities of different dryers,two commonly used methods for drying air,namely the refrigerated drying method and the adsorption drying method,were introduced.Through the comparative analysis of the characteristics of typical drying equipment,it had been found that refrigerated dryers offer significant advantages in terms of price,while adsorption dryers deliver higher quality compressed air.It is recommended that adsorption dryers should be given priority consideration in the construction or renovation of medical air systems.
