Abstract:Objective To compare and study the clinical efficacy of CO2 laser combined with conventional drugs in the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases. Methods A total of 70 patients with inflammatory skin diseases from the Department of Dermatology in our hospital from October 2023 to March 2025 were selected and divided into Group A and Group B according to different treatment regimens.Group A was treated with conventional drugs, while Group B was treated with CO2 laser combined with conventional drugs, with 35 cases in each group. The skin indicators(TEWL and WCSC),inflammatory indicators(IL-2,IL-4,and IFN-γ),quality of life(DLQI score),clinical efficacy and adverse reactions(skin redness and swelling, pain, and pigmentation)of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the TEWL levels in both groups decreased, and the WCSC levels increased. Moreover, the improvement degree in Group B was better than that in Group A(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of IL-2,IL-4 and IFN-γ in both groups decreased, and the improvement degree in Group B was better than that in Group A(P<0.05).After treatment, the DLQI scores of both groups decreased, and the improvement degree of Group B was better than that of Group A(P<0.05).The total effective rate of Group B(94.29%)was higher than that of Group A(77.14%)(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was similar(P>0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of CO2 laser combined with conventional drugs in the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases is remarkable. It can improve skin indicators and inflammatory indicators, enhance the quality of life, and does not increase adverse reactions.
