Current status and development prospects of medical engineering in Chinese hospitals

Abstract：This paper introduces the current situation of medical engineering(clinical engineering)in Chinese hospitals,including the disciplinary status of medical engineering and the current situation of medical engineers,and analyzes the existing problems such as unclear discipline orientation,unstable posts and teams,the changes in service mode and the challenges of medical device technology development.This paper discusses the prospect of discipline orientation,discipline transformation and artificial intelligence application in the development of medical engineering discipline under the new situation.It aims to promote the healthy and high-quality development of medical engineering discipline in hospitals in China and ensure medical quality and patient safety.
