Abstract:Objective:To analyze the clinical efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen combined with EEG biomimetic electrical stimulation in the treatment of delayed encephalopathy after acute carbon monoxide poisoning(DEACMP).Methods:From January 2023 to December 2024,76 patients with DEACMP who visited the hospital consecutively were grouped according to the dynamic randomization method. The conventional group(n=38)received hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and the combination group(n=38)received EEG biomimetic electrical stimulation therapy on the basis of the conventional group. The clinical efficacy,Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE)score,Hasegawa Dementia Scale(HDS)score, and nerve damage indicators[neuron-specific enolase(NSE),S100 calcium-binding protein β(S-100β),and creatine kinase BB(CK-BB)]were compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with the conventional group(73.68%),the combination group(94.74%)had a better clinical efficacy(P<0.05).Compared with the conventional group, the combination group had higher MMSE scores and HDS scores after treatment(P<0.05).Compared with the conventional group, the combination group had lower levels of serum NSE,S-100 β,and CK-BB after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:Hyperbaric oxygen combined with EEG biomimetic electrical stimulation can effectively improve cognitive function and reduce nerve damage in DEACMP patients, with significant effects.
