Abstract:Objective:To observe the effects of different oxygen supply methods, pressures, and tidal volumes on inhaled oxygen concentration during non-invasive ventilation. Methods:A total of 130 patients with non-invasive ventilation were included in the study from January 2021 to March 2025.The grouping was based on the odd even number method, and they were divided into the experimental group and the control group, with 65 patients in each group. The oxygen supply methods for the two groups were nasal cannula oxygen supply within the mask and mask oxygen supply, respectively. The inhaled oxygen concentrations of the two groups and within each group were analyzed under different pressures and tidal volumes(with other indicators remaining constant),and the blood gas analysis and vital signs of the two groups were compared. Results:Under different pressures, the experimental group had a higher inhaled oxygen concentration than the control group(P<0.05).Under different tidal volumes, the experimental group had a higher inhaled oxygen concentration compared to the control group(P<0.05).The inhaled oxygen concentration of the experimental group did not show significant changes with changes in pressure and tidal volume(P>0.05).Under constant tidal volume, the control group showed a decrease in inhaled oxygen concentration as pressure increased.Under constant pressure, the control group showed an increase in inhaled oxygen concentration as tidal volume increased(P<0.05).The blood gas analysis indicators in the experimental group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The vital signs of the experimental group were more stable compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:In non-invasive ventilation, the use of nasal cannula oxygen supply within the mask can increase inhaled oxygen concentration, reduce the effects of pressure and tidal volume changes, improve blood gas indicators, stabilize vital signs, and have important clinical application value.
