Abstract:Objective:To explore the effects of different oxygen therapy modes in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)patients and their impact on inflammatory factors. Methods:A total of 80 COPD patients admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected as the study subjects.According to random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group. The observation group received high-flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy, while the control group received low-flow oxygen therapy. The heart rate, respiratory rate, value of blood gas analysis, inflammatory factor levels, and treatment efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, the heart rate and respiratory rate of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2)in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, while the partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2)and oxygen saturation(SaO2)were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The treatment effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with low-flow oxygen therapy,high-flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy can effectively improve patients'heart rate and respiratory rate, improve indicators for blood gas analysis, reduce the body's inflammatory response, and have a definite therapeutic effect.
