Abstract：Medical gas is an important medical specialty in hospital construction.Based on current laws,regulations,and normative documents,this article takes the renovation project of a medical comprehensive building in a public grade A tertiary hospital in Beijing as a case study to introduce the planning and design content of air sources,pipelines,terminals,and monitoring systems of medical gas in the renovation project.Combined with the current situation of medical gas systems in the old hospital area,it elaborates on the rational planning and design content to ensure that the medical gas design of hospital renovation project is reasonable and efficient,and to ensure the safe and stable use of medical gas.
