Application of PDCA cycle management in hospital medical gas management

Abstract：Objective:To discuss the value of PDCA cycle management in hospital medical gas management.Methods:The utilization and operation efficiency of medical gas before and after PDCA cycle management in medical gas supply system center of our hospital were reviewed and analyzed.Results:After 1 year of PDCA cycle management,the operating rate of the medical gas system in our hospital increased to 100%,and the failure rate decreased to 0,which effectively controlled the occurrence of unplanned downtime.Conclusion:The application of PDCA in the management of hospital medical gas system can effectively improve the utilization rate of the system and ensure the safety and stability of medical gas supply.
