Abstract:Focusing on five cutting-edge biopharmaceuticals—antibody drugs, peptide drugs, cell therapy, gene therapy, and nucleic acid drugs—this study systematically illustrates the key milestones from target discovery to clinical translation across three dimensions:development history, core breakthroughs, and driving forces.Building on this analysis,we map out a strategic landscape that integrates academic foresight, industrial development, and policy orientation using the progressive framework of"bottleneck-breakthrough-prospect-support".Despite their distinct mechanisms, these five frontier biopharmaceuticals face three major bottlenecks, including delivery efficiency, production scale, and clinical translation.Addressing these challenges converges on three strategic pathways:intelligent design, delivery innovation, and platform integration.Collectively, these five technologies are driving the evolution of pharmaceuticals from static targeting to dynamic responsiveness, making therapeutics smarter, more precise, and more controllable. From the perspectives of technological innovation, international collaboration, and policy support,we propose concrete steps to strengthen China's biomedical innovation ecosystem. This study provides theoretical support for frontier exploration in biopharmaceuticals and offers a reference for industrial planning and policy formulation.
