Abstract:Plateau regions bear significant economic value and profound strategic importance, serving as the key to national development. However, the unique hypoxic environment in these areas poses a serious challenge to cognitive health, severely affecting the quality of life of plateau populations. Therefore, research on the mechanism analysis of hypoxic cognitive impairment in plateau regions and related protective technologies has become an important scientific issue in the field of special environmental medicine. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and the advent of the big data era,cutting-edge technologies such as digital twin brain and closed-loop neuromodulation provide new perspectives and entry points for the above research, not only helping to elucidate the injury mechanisms but also empowering cognitive health protection for plateau populations.A brief review is provided on the current research status of hypoxic cognitive impairment in plateau regions, and the potential application value of relevant cutting-edge technologies in this field is discussed, aiming to offer a reference for medical-engineering integration and multidisciplinary convergence in special environmental medicine.
