Abstract:Objective To comprehensively analyze the expression, prognosis, clinicopathological association, genomic alteration profiles, immune microenvironment characteristics, and potential underlying molecular mechanisms of actin-like protein 6A(ACTL6A)in pan-cancer through multi-omics methods. Methods A cross-omics analysis of ACTL6A was performed, encompassing its expression difference, survival outcomes, clinical correlations, mutational spectra, and immune cell infiltration levels.Functional enrichment analysis was applied to explore the biological pathways potentially involved. Results ACTL6A demonstrated significantly elevated expression in most of the examined tumor tissues.Increased ACTL6A levels were significantly associated with shorter overall survival in patients with glioma, acute myeloid leukemia, kidney chromophobe, among others.Furthermore, its expression showed a positive correlation with the degree of neutrophil infiltration in multiple cancer types.Pathway enrichment analysis indicated that ACTL6A was primarily involved in core biological processes such as ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling. Conclusion ACTL6A exhibits oncogenic properties at a pan-cancer level, likely promoting tumor progression through various mechanisms including regulating chromatin remodeling, impacting genomic stability, and reprogramming the tumor immune microenvironment. These findings suggest its potential as a novel prognostic biomarker and a promising therapeutic target.
