Abstract:Modern war increasingly reflects the characteristics of multi-domains.With the in-depth study of military theory, the contest for"information domination"has become the new commanding height of modern war,and the development of the Internet and artificial intelligence technology has gradually highlighted the cognitive domain battlefield hidden behind the physical battlefield.Although modern cognitive domain warfare originated in Western countries, ancient China has a theoretical treasure house of"mental warfare"with similar connotation to cognitive domain warfare.By combing the concepts and mechanisms of Chinese"mental warfare"and Western modern cognitive domain warfare, this paper clarifies the differences of cognitive domain warfare from different cultural perspectives, and then makes strategic choices and prospects with Chinese characteristics for cognitive domain warfare under the new situation from the perspective of contemporary national interests.
