Abstract:Objective To explore the cognitive ability of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)operators with high brain load and its influencing factors. Methods The cognitive task performance of 10 large and medium-sized UAV operators,13 UAV ground crew and 15 other types of workers with high brain load were evaluated in five cognitive tasks:Schulte grid, black and red digital table, symbol conversion, memory go and Wisconsin Card Sorting Test.At the same time, the potential factors affecting the cognitive ability of UAV operators such as age, education, average sleep time, average exercise time, working years, and whether to conduct scientific memory training were analyzed by multiple linear regression. Results The comprehensive brain cognitive ability of UAV operators was lower than that of ground crew and other types of workers with high brain load(P<0.05,P<0.01).The main influencing factors were age and whether to conduct scientific memory training, and the cognitive ability of those who performed memory training was relatively higher(P<0.05).Conclusion UAV operation may affect cognitive ability and judgment ability.Scientific memory training can improve cognitive ability,so as to enhance work quality and efficiency.
