Abstract:Acute lung injury(ALI)is a clinical syndrome of inflammation and increased permeability of pulmonary capillaries, which can lead to acute respiratory distress syndrome in severe cases.Oxidative stress is caused by the imbalance between reactive oxygen species/reactive nitrogen species generated in the body and antioxidant defense mechanism, resulting in damages of biological macromolecules such as nucleic acids, lipids, and proteins in tissue cells. This paper summarizes the relevant literature at home and abroad in recent years, and reviews the research progress of oxidative stress in ALI caused by different factors, aiming to provide reference for the treatment of ALI.
