Abstract：Craniomaxillofacial protective equipment is the main equipment to protect the head and maxillofacial region of wearer in armed conflict.With the upgrading of modern protective equipment,it is significant to enhance the protective strength of craniomaxillofacial military protective equipment.This paper starts with the existing craniomaxillofacial equipment,lists the current main protective equipment,analyzes the advantages and existing problems of the current protective equipment from two aspects of appearance and material,summarizes the possible improvement methods according to the existing problems,including comfort of shape design and strength improvement,integrates a variety of high-strength materials including Kevlar fiber,ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers and ceramic composite materials,and adjusts the layering of materials during the manufacturing of craniomaxillofacial protective equipment based on biomimetic design,so as to provide research ideas for the optimization of craniomaxillofacial protective equipment.
