Abstract:Colorectal cancer(CRC)is one of the most common malignant tumors globally. In the past few years, remarkable progress has been made in applying immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)to treat CRC.However, for patients with microsatellite stable/mismatch repair-proficient metastatic CRC,monotherapy with ICIs has yet to demonstrate a clinical efficacy advantage.Studies have shown that anti-angiogenic drugs(AAD)can normalize tumor blood vessels, thereby improving immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and transforming"cold tumors"into"hot tumors".This mechanism synergizes with ICIs and has been validated in clinical treatment of CRC.In view of this, this paper reviews the mechanism and clinical research progress of AAD combined with ICIs in the treatment of CRC,aiming to provide a scientific basis and reference for anti-angiogenesis combined with tumor immune-targeted therapy of CRC.
