Abstract:Obstructive sleep apnea(OSA)is a chronic sleep breathing disorder.Mechanisms such as ischemia and hypoxia may lead to cardiac damage.Magnetic resonance imaging serves as a pivotal assessment tool in studying cardiac aspects of OSA,offering rich insights into cardiac structure,function,and myocardial health.This article presents a comprehensive review of research advancements in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging pertaining to OSA,aiming to enhance our understanding of its impact on the heart and provide a solid foundation for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
