Abstract:Cell division cycle 20(CDC20),as a co-activator of E3 ubiquitin ligase and anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome,degrades different substrate molecules through ubiquitination. It widely participates in cell mitosis and affects tumor development. This paper focuses on the review of CDC20's involvement in ubiquitination function and its role in the central nervous system, providing important references for researchers to explore new substrates in the brain and develop related gene therapy technologies for neurological and psychiatric disorders.
