Abstract:Objective To develop a new type of powered specialized rescue equipment and construct a teaching simulation training system for pilots in distress to quickly detach from the cockpit,so as to improve the rapid rescue ability of pilots in distress. Methods The simulation training system included a rapid rescue unit for pilots in distress and a simulated aircraft cabin unit. The rapid rescue unit included rescue elevators,passive/powered rescue platforms, powered rescue platforms based on self-lifting devices, and pilot lifting devices, used for rapid rescue simulation training of pilots in distress under different aircraft types and injury conditions. The simulated aircraft cabin units were constructed based on different aircraft models, and the training cabin was simulated with combat injury simulator to simulate a real environment experience. Results The training system could achieve simulation training for pilots in distress to quickly detach from the cockpit, with advantages such as strong rescue ability, versatility and scalability and high rescue efficiency. Conclusion The development and application of the training system can be used for the teaching and training of students majoring in biomedical engineering and related clinical specialties, which is of great significance for improving the level of rapid rescue for pilots in distress.
