Abstract:The SH2-containing inositol 5'-phosphatase 1(SHIP1)is a kind of phosphatase proteins mainly but not completely expressed in the cytoplasm of hematopoietic cells. It belongs to the inositol 5'-phosphatase family and is an important negative regulator of phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase(PI3K)signal pathway.PI3K signal pathway has been proved to play a role in tumorigenesis and development. As a regulator of phosphoinositide signal pathway,SHIP1 plays an important role in tumorigenesis, development and immune regulation. The purpose of this review is to summarize the role of SHIP1 in tumorigenesis, development and immune regulation,in order to explore new ways of tumor treatment.
