Abstract:Liver cancer is one of the malignant tumors with the highest mortality rate, which commonly occurs in middle-aged and elderly populations. However, with the development of society, the incidence of liver cancer in young patients has gradually increased and the mortality rate remains high. This paper summarizes and systematically analyzes the epidemiology, clinical molecular characteristics, and risk factors of liver cancer in young patients. It is found that liver cancer in young patients has unique incidence characteristics and risk factors and can be considered as an independent disease entity. At present, targeted diagnosis and treatment methods are urgently needed to improve the early diagnosis and survival rate of liver cancer in young patients,so as to reduce the burden of liver cancer in young population.
