To cease the research dislocation of Chinese medicine

Abstract：At present, there is a dislocation in the clinical and academic research of Chinese medicine and the research and development of Chinese patent medicine. The current research takes the disease of modern medicine as the main object of study and ignores the dominance of "syndrome". The research method destroys the systematicness of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theory and practice, and fragmentates the TCM theory. It does not comply with the scientific nature of TCM and hinders the development of TCM, so the dislocated research of TCM should be stopped. We hope to establish the discipline system of TCM diagnosis and treatment classification (subject) with the "syndrome" as the object of study and the thought of "syndrome-based disease" kept in our mind.
