Abstract:With the continuous advancement of nuclear medicine imaging technology, the fusion technology of single-photon emission computed tomography(SPECT)and CT(SPECT/CT)has developed rapidly.SPECT/CT examination is a nuclear medi-cine imaging technology that integrates functional metabolic imaging with high-resolution anatomical structures. It can precisely locate and quantitatively assess lesions in a single examination, significantly improving the diagnostic accuracy and specificity of bone tumors and infectious, metabolic, and ischemic bone diseases.Future research will focus on the optimization of imaging re-construction algorithms, the reduction of scanning time, and the development of new long-half-life molecular probes. At the same time,it will promote the integration of artificial intelligence and radiomics in the image analysis of SPECT/CT examinations, with the aim of extending SPECT/CT examinations to primary screening and long-term dynamic follow-up scenarios, thereby promot-ing the transformation of orthopedic diseases from"morphological diagnosis"to"function-molecular precision diagnosis and treat-ment".
