Value of 99Tcm-MDP SPECT/CT imaging in the diagnosis of adult SAPHO syndrome

Abstract：Objective To analyze the imaging characteristics of 99Tcm-MDP SPECT/CT in SAPHO syndrome and to investi-gate the diagnostic value of this method in SAPHO syndrome.Methods The 99Tcm-MDP SPECT/CT data of 7 patients with SAPHO syndrome were retrospectively analyzed and the bone and joint involvement of SAPHO syndrome were observed.Results All 7 patients had multisite involvement,anterior chest wall involvement and spine involvement were most commonly seen.Among 7 cases,there were 12 sites of bone erosion and joint bone resorption,28 sites of hyperostosis and osteosclerosis,and 12 sites of narrowing of joint space and joint fusion.Conclusion SAPHO syndrome can cause multiple site involve-ment,99Tcm-MDP SPECT/CT can help improve the diagnostic accuracy by reducing the omission of lesions and providing relevant imaging information.
