Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of MRI gradient spin echo-intravoxel incoherent motion(GRASE-IVIM)technique in testicular imaging. Methods A total of 47 patients who underwent testicular MRI examination were se-lected.Both the routine echo planar imaging-intravoxel incoherent motion(EPI-IVIM)and GRASE-IVIM sequence scans were performed.Subjective evaluation and objective analysis were carried out for the images of the two sequences. The subjective evaluation was conducted by two radiologists using the 4-point method. For the objective analysis, parameters such as the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and distortion rate(DR)of the images were calculated. Results The excellent rates of the subjective scores of the images of the EPI-IVIM and GRASE-IVIM sequences were 74.5%and 95.7%,respectively.The excellent rate of the GRASE-IVIM sequence was higher than that of the EPI-IVIM sequence, and the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.01).The DR and SNR of the EPI-IVIM sequence were higher than those of the GRASE-IVIM sequence, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).There were no significant differences in other parameters between the groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with the EPI-IVIM sequence, the GRASE-IVIM sequence can reduce susceptibility artifacts, decrease the distortion rate, improve the image quality, which has a higher clinical application value.
