Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical value of 320-slice spiral CT low-dose scanning combined with high-resolution target scanning in pulmonary ground-glass nodules(GGNs).Methods This study enrolled 105 patients with GGNs detected by routine chest CT who underwent follow-up target scanning after 3 months.Patients were divided into conventional scanning group and low-dose combined with target scanning group.Radiation dose,GGN detection rate,CT features visualization, and diagnos-tic efficacy were compared between groups. Results The mean radiation dose in conventional scanning group[(338.90±24.54)mGy·cm]was significantly higher than in low-dose combined group[(225.30±26.96)mGy·cm](P<0.05).Both groups showed equivalent GGN detection rates.Significant intergroup differences were observed in visualizing vacuole sign and air bronchogram(P<0.05),while,other CT features showed no statistical differences(P>0.05).The combined scanning group demonstrated superior diagnostic performance as follows:sensitivity(94.00%vs 91.58%),specificity(85.71%vs 80.95%),positive predictive value(96.74%vs 89.01%),and negative predictive value(75.00%vs 68.00%),all P>0.05.Conclusion The 320-slice spiral CT low-dose scanning combined with high-resolution target scanning reduces radiation exposure, while providing better spatial resolution and contrast compared to conventional CT,which can be used for the diagnosis of GGNs.
